The short version: data not collected

Yumi3D doesn't collect, store on a server, share or sell any information about you. Your models, textures and settings stay on your iPad, or wherever you choose to save them.

What the app keeps, and where

Everything Yumi3D saves is stored on your iPad, inside the app's own storage:

  • Projects you save, in the app's folder, which you can see in the Files app under On My iPad › Yumi3D.
  • Autosaves of open work, so a crash or restart doesn't lose it. The newest few are kept and older ones are removed automatically.
  • Your settings, such as Pencil pressure, gestures, units and color theme, plus whether an Apple Pencil has been used, so the app knows whether to suggest drawing with a finger.

None of this leaves your iPad unless you move it yourself. Deleting Yumi3D deletes all of it, except files you've saved somewhere else.

Files you open, export or share

Yumi3D only reads files you pick yourself, such as a model, an image for a texture or a stencil, or a project. It can't browse other apps' files.

When you bring in a reference image from Photos, the system's photo picker hands Yumi3D only the picture you choose. The app never sees the rest of your library and never asks for permission to.

When you export a model, render an image or video, or share texture maps, you choose where it goes through the standard iPadOS share sheet or Files. From there, the app or service you picked handles it under its own privacy policy. If you keep projects in iCloud Drive, Apple stores them under Apple's privacy policy.

No internet connection

Yumi3D doesn't connect to the internet. It contains no analytics or advertising code and no third-party software development kits that send data anywhere, and it never asks for access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts or photo library.

Crash reports from Apple

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPad's settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send the developer anonymous crash reports and usage statistics about Yumi3D. They don't identify you, and they're used only to find and fix bugs. You can turn this off at any time in the same place.

Children

Yumi3D collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

This website

This website has no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, and it's hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs to run and protect the site.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Yumi3D ever handles your information differently, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
